Say hello to Sage the shiny Holstein! This pale green version of Misty Moo stands about 30 cm tall and is made to be semi-posable, meaning that it is able to alter between basic standing and sitting positions. Sage is made in a lifelike style, using two shades of faux fur, and features many intricate details, such as realistic cloven hooves and a detailed muzzle with proper mouth and nostrils. There's even a cute little pink tongue, that can be tucked away inside the mouth. All in all this plushie is made from a whopping 122 handsewn pieces!
This lifelike looking plushie will be recreated upon order. As with all items in my store, Sage was originally designed by me and will also be reproduced by me. She will be made in an environment free of cigarette smoke and perfume, but not entierly pet free as I have cats.
Sage's body will be made from two shades of regular quality faux fur with a pile length of 12 mm. 70 mm luxury mongolian faux fur is to be used for the tail tip. Synthetic suede, a fabric that is made to resemble brushed leather and has a soft feel to it, will be used for the feet and nose. Short pile minky will be used for the furry parts of the snout and upholstery grade velour for the tongue. The plushie will be fitted with 14 mm plastic safety eyes, which are lined with black imitate leather to improve their shape and to make them more lifelike. The legs will be sealed off from the rest of the body, allowing them to be stuffed firmly enough to carry the weight of the the body, while the rest of the calf is stuffed much more lightly. Plastic beads will be added to add extra weight to the lower legs and tail tip.
This plushie is best used as an ornamental piece for indoors decoration purposes. It is not suitable as a toy and should be kept away from young children and pets at all times. It can be used for play with older children if handled gently. Keep in mind though, that this is an artist doll. It is a work of art and not a toy. The plushie can't be washed if it gets dirty and may easily get damaged.
